Community 

We are thankful for the community involvement we receive at GES through community sponsors.   The Junior Service League is our COMPASS partner.  They are a tremendous support to our school.  The Junior Service League serves as reading buddies for our children, assists with our book fairs, and provides financial support in helping our library improve our non-fiction selections.  The JSL spoils our teachers and staff each year with a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week breakfast.

Another great sponsor is Volunteer State Bank.  Volunteer State Bank offers Gator Banking on Thursdays at GES.  This allows our students the opportunity to become responsible citizens by learning how to manage money.

Students and staff actively participate in giving back to the community.  During the school year, GES raises awareness and donations for Jump Rope for Heart.  In 2015, Guild raised over $5,400.  In 2016, we raised over $8,100, a new school record!  The staff at Guild raises $2,000 annually for the United Way.  We are proud to make an impact on such worthy organizations.
