Welcome to Guild

Welcome to Guild Elementary, the place where

 children ALWAYS come first!

"Imagine a future in which the color of a child's skin, the

language a childspeaks and the side of town a childcomes from

are no longer considered barriers to a great education and a

great life."

~Dr. Maria Robledo Montecel, Ph.D.

Our purpose at Guild School is to ensure that Dr. Montecel's dream comes true!

“Dr.” TIFFANY STRANGE

Summary of Her Qualities

As the principal of this great school, I am honoring TIFFANY STRANGE as our April 2012 Faculty Member of the Month Award. Tiffany has been so very instrumental in the drastic improvement of our EL program, in and of itself, as well as its connection made with regular education instruction that has enabled us to truly include EL students into the mainstream of regular education.  Tiffany’s efforts resulted in an outstanding 3% gain in our EL scores in 2011, a percentage that was discussed with great enthusiasm and applause at my Summer testing meetings in 2011 with members of our Instruction Department.  Tiffany has been a key element in the metamorphosis of turning Guild from “good” to “GREAT”.  While at Guild, she has been such a positive role model for the children who’ve been blessed to have her as their EL teacher as well as those who have benefitted so greatly from your EL “Push-In” program.  Her quiet leadership and contributions to our school have not go unnoticed.

Tiffany, I appreciate all you’ve done for Guild School and all that I am certain that you will continue to do to make and keep Guild School a special place.  Thank you for being a loyal and positively contributing team member of the Guild Family and, most importantly, a trusted colleague and friend to so many.
